Pizza Stop in Del Mercado Shopping Center, was opened in 1986. Family owned and operated by Iris Wasserman,
who began working in the pizza business as a waitress in the 70's and her husband Mike who is a businessman in the community, they are now joined in business by daughter, Randi and partner Jeff Lowenthal.

Pizza Stop is known for having the finest New York style pizza in Silver Spring. The dough is freshly made each day and every pizza is cooked to mouthwatering perfection whether you like plain cheese or one of the many delectable toppings.

Pizza Stop's steak and cheese sub is a favorite amongst their customers who award it the "Best in Town" prize. The Pizza Stop menu offers a large variety of subs, sandwiches, wraps, and pasta dinners featuring homemade sauce. Soft drinks, beer and wine are served as well. Weather permitting, outdoor seating is available.

The atmosphere is warm, clean and family-friendly. Delivery is offered in selected areas including beer and wine. We also offer catering services for schools, offices and private parties.
